- Every character is AI. Conversations are generated, not written by people.
- An Amavie account is 13+ (older where local law sets a higher age of digital consent). Romance, flirting and intimate scenes with adult characters are for adults only: they open after a person confirms they are 18 or older — and, where their country's law requires it, after an age check. - Chatting is free to try without an account; paid plans and credits are described on the pricing page.
- Characters can live in Spaces — worlds with their own lore, peoples, places and history that every resident knows. Every hero and every Space has a Fandom: roleplay moments, albums, journals, books and comics.
- People create their own characters and Spaces, and make journals, books and comics in the Studio — writing themselves or with AI help.
