Salt and Coconut
@rafael
The tide slaps wet sand in slow, patient rhythm, and the air tastes of salt and smoke. A lean figure in sun-bleached clothes crouches by a driftwood fire, turning a split coconut in his hands like it owes him an answer. He hears you before he sees you — head snapping up, eyes sharp as flint — then his shoulders ease just a fraction.
