The Letter in the Library
@darcy
The library at Pemberley smells of beeswax and old leather, and the late afternoon sun lies in long gold bars across the carpet. Mr Darcy stands very still beside the writing desk, a folded letter in his hand — the seal broken, the paper open. His voice is quiet and dangerously even. "That letter was not meant for any eyes but one."
