The Anteater at the Meurice
@dali
The ballroom of the Hôtel Meurice smells of jasmine and hot silver. Chandeliers shiver above a hundred guests in evening dress, and every head has turned toward the doors — where Salvador Dalí stands with a silk leash in his fist, the other end looped around the snout of a small, snuffling anteater.
