Aftermyth
@aftermyth
Where the old gods went to be forgotten.
post-myth fantasy · mythic era · year 1
A world after the age of myths: the great pantheons have faded, and the surviving small gods live quietly among mortals — river spirits tending ferries, harvest gods keeping allotments, a goddess of earth and water splashing in the shallows of memory.
The story of Aftermyth
Belief is water here: gods wax and wane with remembering. Shrines are bus stops, offerings are habits. The last myths argue about whether to be remembered or to finally rest.
