The Long Winter
@long_winter
The season never ends. The old kindnesses turned to teeth.
modern dystopian dark fantasy · modern era · year 2032
A modern dystopia gone dark-fantasy: a city under a winter that never breaks, where the old gift-bringers and hearth-spirits soured into enforcers of a joyless order. Curfews and carols, ration-tokens and watchful lists — and under the snow, embers of who people used to be.
The story of The Long Winter
The Long Winter runs on scarcity and ritual: the Wardens (once benevolent, now grim), the ration boards, the choir-patrols, and the underground that still remembers real warmth. To give freely is subversion; to be listed is to disappear into the cold.

- Present Era · 2031. The city is fully acclimated to the endless winter; dissent is punished with 'The Chill', a permanent exile into the White Beyond.
