Portnet
@portnet
Everything ships. No one travels.
logistics sci-fi · spacefaring era · year 2377
A cosmic civilization where teleporters replaced delivery — a material analogue of the internet. Food, spare parts, medicine, limbs, contraband: everything arrives in seconds. People, by old law and older fear, do not.
The story of Portnet
Port nodes are marketplaces, temples and border posts at once. Darknet routing exists for matter too; market elders read a person's soul from their purchase history. The question no one asks aloud: why exactly are people forbidden to ship?
