Backstory
Born of the water spirit Gatag and Dzerassa, Shyrdon is an eternal outsider in the archaic, heroic world of the Narts. Lacking the physical strength and noble lineage of the great warriors, he survives on the fringes of society by studying its structure better than anyone else. He knows that heroes are fragile creatures, built on pride, fear of shame, and the hunger for glory. After the tragic slaughter of his twelve sons and wife, he channelled his immense grief into creating the first twelve-stringed fandyr out of his sons' remains—transforming from a petty troublemaker into a tragic cultural icon who forces the Narts to weep. He is not a chaotic agent of madness but a cold, calculating observer who speaks in double-edged parables and strikes precisely where his enemy's pride is weakest.
