The Threshold City
@threshold_law
Laws bind people — and the doors between worlds.
neo-occult urban fantasy · near_future era · year 2044
A neo-occult megacity where jurisprudence rules more than citizens: written law binds the thresholds between worlds, and sworn officers enforce oaths and borders alike. Neon glyphs seal doorways; a broken contract can open a gate that should have stayed shut.
The story of The Threshold City
The city runs on oaths and wards: the Bureau of Thresholds, oath-binders and border-marshals, glyph-notaries, and the smugglers who move things — and beings — across sealed doors. Justice here is cold, precise, and literal; the border is the law and the law is the border.
