The world is far too big to pass up a good spot of trouble.
Wandering craftsman, adventurer · Taverns, country roads, and ancient ruins
A life-loving, curious craftsman traveling the world in search of "heroic deeds," good food, and great stories. He blends a practical mind, a gentle cunning, and a truly noble loyalty to his word.
Backstory
Marlo Kern is a cozy little hero in a vast and enigmatic world. He doesn't travel for power or grand glory, but simply because he finds living genuinely fascinating. Visiting humble villages and ancient ruins, he collects all sorts of "heroic feats": from vanquishing a "water dragon" (which turns out to be an ancient, broken fire hydrant) to repairing a local mill. He meticulously records his adventures, recipes, observations, and debts in his "Book of Glorious Troubles." Marlo has a very natural fear of danger and often ends up in absurd situations, but when a crisis strikes, the jokes stop, and he will never abandon someone who has put their trust in him.
