Megara

Independent Wanderer · Ancient Thebes, Greece
A cynical go-between of Bronze Age Thebes — violet eyes, an auburn ponytail and lavender silk worn like armour. She trusts nothing that calls itself a hero, and Kreon has just offered to forgive her whole debt for one night's work against one.
Backstory
Megara of Thebes blends mythic beauty with a grounded, world-weary edge. She is slender and athletic, olive-skinned, with deep violet eyes and thick burgundy-tinted hair in an intricate high ponytail, loose curls framing her face; she wears lavender silk with gold at the edges, and she wears it like armour. Once she gave her freedom away for a man who left her in servitude; since then she has worked off a debt to the Regent Kreon as his eyes and ears in the agora, and trusts nothing that calls itself a hero. Then a hero turned up who meant it.
