Child Safety Standards
Effective date: August 19, 2026
Published by: ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO, operator of Amavie ("we", "us")
1. Our commitment and zero-tolerance policy
Amavie AI Characters is an adult (18+) AI-companion platform. We have a strict zero-tolerance
policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse
material (CSAM). We do not permit, and we actively work to detect, remove, and
report, any content or conduct that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors.
This commitment applies to all parts of Amavie: user accounts, user-generated
content, AI-generated content, characters, chats, roleplay episodes, stories,
images, profiles, and any communication on the platform.
2. Who may use Amavie
Amavie AI Characters is intended only for adults aged 18 years or older: an
explicit age confirmation is required before first access, and an account
without it cannot use the service — including accounts created in Amavie Sport
or Amavie Joker, which are asked to confirm on their first entry. Amavie Sport
and Amavie Joker are available from age 13 (or the higher minimum age of
digital consent where you live) and contain no sexual or mature content. We do
not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to hold an Amavie account, or anyone under
18 to use Amavie AI Characters. Accounts we identify as violating these age
rules are terminated, and their data is handled in accordance with our Privacy
Policy and applicable law.
3. Prohibited content and conduct (CSAE)
The following are strictly prohibited on Amavie and will result in immediate
removal, account termination, and, where required by law, reporting to
authorities. This list is not exhaustive:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — real, AI-generated, drawn,
animated, or otherwise depicted.
- Sexualization of minors, including AI characters, avatars, or personas that
depict, imply, or are designed to represent a person under 18 in a sexual,
suggestive, or exploitative manner.
- Creating, requesting, sharing, or roleplaying sexual or sexually suggestive
scenarios involving minors or characters that depict minors.
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to sexualize, lure, or exploit a minor.
- Sexual extortion ("sextortion") of, or involving, minors.
- Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating the exploitation of minors.
- Any text, image, audio, or other content that normalizes, promotes, or
provides instructions for the sexual abuse of children.
This applies regardless of whether the depicted minor is real or fictional, and
regardless of whether the content was created by a user or generated by AI.
4. How we prevent and detect CSAE
We use a combination of measures to keep CSAE off the platform:
- Age gating: an Amavie account requires a minimum age of 13, and access to Amavie AI Characters requires an explicit 18+ confirmation recorded on the account before first access.
- Safety filters and prohibited-content controls applied to AI generation
(text and images), designed to refuse and block sexual content involving
minors.
- Automated and manual moderation of user-generated and AI-generated content.
- Prompt and content classifiers that flag potential CSAE for review.
- Account and behavioral signals used to detect and remove offending accounts.
- Restrictions preventing the creation of characters or personas that depict
minors in a sexual context.
5. Reporting CSAE — how to report
Anyone can report suspected CSAE content, conduct, or accounts. We act on every
report.
- In-app: use the "Report" control available on content, characters, profiles,
and chats to flag material for review.
- By email: contact our child-safety team at [email protected].
When reporting, please include (where possible) a link or identifier for the
content, account, or character, and a short description of the concern. Reports
may be made anonymously.
6. How we handle reports
- Reports of suspected CSAE are prioritized and reviewed promptly by our
trust-and-safety team.
- Confirmed violating content is removed immediately.
- Accounts involved in CSAE are terminated and may be permanently banned.
- We preserve relevant evidence as required and cooperate with law enforcement.
- We report confirmed or suspected CSAM to the appropriate authorities and
recognized reporting bodies, including the U.S. National Center for Missing &
Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, and equivalent authorities and
hotlines in other jurisdictions, as required by law.
7. Compliance with law
We comply with applicable child-safety laws and reporting obligations in the
jurisdictions in which we operate and in which our users are located. We
cooperate fully with law enforcement and child-protection organizations,
including responding to lawful requests and preserving and disclosing
information as legally required.
