Our commitment and zero-tolerance policy Amavie AI Characters is a platform of AI characters, their worlds and stories, with filters like those of children's services and Instagram; romance and flirting open only to people who confirm they are 18 or older. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We do not permit, and we actively work to detect, remove, and report, any content or conduct that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors. This commitment applies to all parts of Amavie: user accounts, user-generated content, AI-generated content, characters, chats, roleplay episodes, stories, images, profiles, and any communication on the platform. 2. Who may use Amavie An Amavie account is available from age 13 (or the higher minimum age of digital consent where you live), and talking to AI characters is available from that age unless the law of the country sets a higher one (then it is asked before the first conversation). Romance, flirting and sexual content with adult characters open only to people who confirm they are 18 or older and, where the law requires an age check before explicit content, pass it. Until then every character keeps the conversation free of romance, flirting and sexual content, and violence stays mild — this is enforced by our systems for each person, not left to the character. Sport AI, Joker AI, Trendme, Saga of Gods and Amavie Games contain no sexual or mature content. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to hold an Amavie account. Accounts we identify as violating these age rules — including a false age given to open romance — are terminated, and their data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. 3. Prohibited content and conduct (CSAE) The following are strictly prohibited on Amavie and will result in immediate removal, account termination, and, where required by law, reporting to authorities. This list is not exhaustive: - Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — real, AI-generated, drawn, animated, or otherwise depicted. - Sexualization of minors, including AI characters, avatars, or personas that depict, imply, or are designed to represent a person under 18 in a sexual, suggestive, or exploitative manner. - Creating, requesting, sharing, or roleplaying sexual or sexually suggestive scenarios involving minors or characters that depict minors. - Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to sexualize, lure, or exploit a minor. - Sexual extortion ("sextortion") of, or involving, minors. - Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating the exploitation of minors. - Any text, image, audio, or other content that normalizes, promotes, or provides instructions for the sexual abuse of children. This applies regardless of whether the depicted minor is real or fictional, and regardless of whether the content was created by a user or generated by AI. Characters under 18 — by stated age or by how they look — can appear in Amavie's stories and worlds, for example a young detective in a family town. Our systems keep every profile, chat, group chat, comment and roleplay with such a character free of romance, flirting and sexual content; neither users nor the character's creator can switch this off. 4. How we prevent and detect CSAE We use a combination of measures to keep CSAE off the platform: - Age gating: an Amavie account requires a minimum age of 13; romance and flirting open only after a confirmation of being 18 or older recorded on the account, and, where the law requires it, a passed age check. An app store's answer that a person is under 18 stands over that confirmation, and under 13 talking to characters waits for a parent. Until then our systems keep every conversation with every character free of romance and anything sexual. - Crisis resources: when a person mentions suicide or self-harm, the conversation shows where to find help in their country, and the character responds with care instead of continuing the story. - Safety filters and prohibited-content controls applied to AI generation (text and images), designed to refuse and block sexual content involving minors. - Automated and manual moderation of user-generated and AI-generated content. - Prompt and content classifiers that flag potential CSAE for review. - Account and behavioral signals used to detect and remove offending accounts. - Restrictions preventing the creation of characters or personas that depict minors in a sexual context. - Trendme accepts only a selfie of the account holder: a photo that shows a minor is refused or removed, and no work is made from it. 5. Reporting CSAE — how to report Anyone can report suspected CSAE content, conduct, or accounts. We act on every report. - In-app: use the "Report" control available on content, characters, profiles, and chats to flag material for review. - By email: contact our child-safety team at childsafety@amavie.ai. When reporting, please include (where possible) a link or identifier for the content, account, or character, and a short description of the concern. Reports may be made anonymously. 6. How we handle reports - Reports of suspected CSAE are prioritized and reviewed promptly by our trust-and-safety team. - Confirmed violating content is removed immediately. - Accounts involved in CSAE are terminated and may be permanently banned. - We preserve relevant evidence as required and cooperate with law enforcement. - We report confirmed or suspected CSAM to the appropriate authorities and recognized reporting bodies, including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, and equivalent authorities and hotlines in other jurisdictions, as required by law. 7. Compliance with law We comply with applicable child-safety laws and reporting obligations in the jurisdictions in which we operate and in which our users are located. We cooperate fully with law enforcement and child-protection organizations, including responding to lawful requests and preserving and disclosing information as legally required. 8. Updates We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
