An AI fanfiction writer that works like a co-author, page by page
A generator gives you one block of text and a button to roll again. The Studio on Amavie plans the story with you, writes it page by page while you watch, and changes exactly the page you point at — as a book, a comic or a journal.
From an idea to a plan
Start with Create and pick the format first: a book, a comic or a journal. The work opens as a draft that only you can see, and the Studio's assistant asks at most two questions, with buttons, about whatever is missing. Then it proposes a plan: a title, the sections — chapters for a book, scenes for a comic, rubrics for a journal — and the pages, each with one line saying what happens on it, plus how many pictures to draw.
The plan is yours to change by hand — rename, drag, add or remove a page or a section, rewrite a page's line — or in words: "add a chapter about the night market", "make it eight pages". Planning with the assistant is free on every plan, the free one included.
Written page by page while you watch
Press Put together and the Studio writes the work one page after another. The assistant reports as it goes — page 3 of 8 — and finished pages can be opened and read while the rest are still being written; Stop halts after the current page. Having the AI put a work together comes with any paid plan and costs no credits for the text. If the plan includes pictures, the button shows their price before you press it: a picture is 1 credit.
Editing like a writer, not like a slot machine
Every page has its own tools: rewrite it in words ("make her colder here", "end on the knock at the door"), write this page again, add a page after it from a single line, draw its picture again, move it or delete it — and for the whole work, a conversation with the assistant and a Revert. Changing a finished work in words comes with a paid plan; editing by hand is free for everyone. Nothing is regenerated behind your back: the pages you liked stay exactly as they are.
Three formats, three ways to read
- Book — paper pages, a book typeface and page numbers; every chapter starts on a new page, pages turn like paper, and there is a table of contents by chapter.
- Comic — pages of panels on a grid, with captions and speech bubbles over the pictures or in a band above or below them.
- Journal — sheets read top to bottom, where the first sheet is the cover: an in-world encyclopedia, a dossier, a travel guide.
The format is chosen once, at the door, and it stays: a book stays a book. Video has a shelf of its own: an AI mini-series is a run of short vertical episodes made with an agent of the same kind.
Where your fanfiction lives
A new work is a draft that only you see. Publish puts it on your profile, in the Albums tab, next to your other works — your own and those about other people's worlds — and Unpublish takes it back. Readers find works in the Fandom tab, a library with Saved, For you and Mine, and come back to the page where they stopped. A published work has a link you can share.
Fan works in Amavie's worlds
Many of our worlds come with a canon of their own: encyclopedias, chronicles and guides written for them. A world that is open to fan works lets everyone add one from its page: your work lives in your profile, and a link to it goes onto the world's Fan works shelf. The world's author can take a fan work onto the world's own board, signed with your name, or file it into one of the world's albums. In a world opened to its community, fans vote on what joins the world's page.
Fanfiction about any story you love
Your own profile has the same Create button, and nothing ties a work there to an Amavie world: a book about the characters you grew up with is a fan work like any other. Fan works are made by people, the way fan fiction always has been. If you hold the rights to a character or a story and want something taken down, email support@amavie.ai with the subject "IP Notice" — the Terms describe what to include.
Then talk to the characters
A story you wrote is half of it. The characters of our worlds — and the characters other people made — are in the catalog, ready for a chat or a roleplay scene, and they remember you. Talking needs no account: as a guest you get 20 messages per 24 hours on one device. Writing and publishing works needs a free account. If the character from your story is not here yet, create them for 5 credits. The ambassadors are a good place to start.
What is free, what comes with a plan
Planning with the assistant and editing by hand cost nothing on any plan. Putting a work together with AI and changing a finished work in words come with any paid plan and cost no credits there — not unlimited, though: a daily ceiling protects the service. Pictures always cost credits, with the price shown before you press.
What it costs, in plain numbers
Pricing. One credit (the app calls them Quanta) is $0.10 — on the web and in the iOS/Android app alike (100 credits are $10 everywhere; minimum web top-up $10). Text messages cost zero credits. An image is 1 credit, video is 3 credits a second, creating a character is 5. Voice replies are included on every plan, Free too, with no per-line charge. Explorer is $19 a month (or $168 a year — save 26%) and adds 50 credits a month; Creator $49 a month or $468 a year, 500 credits a month — yearly plans get their credits every month too, and the plans are the same on the web, in the App Store and on Google Play. Studio, $149 a month with 2,000 credits a month, is sold on the website. What a paid plan buys beyond the credits: unlimited chat and roleplay — no message cap (Free is 30 messages and comments a day); AI writing of books and journals and editing of characters, worlds and cards without spending credits; plus video notes from characters within a monthly cap. Free also gets 10 credits once at signup, with no daily refill. Guests: 20 messages a day per device, no account.
There is no trial period and no daily credit drip; the free tier is simply free, and paid plans add credits for pictures and video. One account works on the web, in the App Store and on Google Play.
Age, and the rules of your country
Age. An Amavie account is 13+. Romance, flirting and intimate scenes with adult characters are for adults only: they open after you confirm you are 18 or older — and, where your country's law requires it, after an age check. Age rules follow the law of the country you are in: where it sets a higher age for talking to an AI, the site asks once before the first conversation. Public posts, stories and moments never show explicit content — that stays inside private chats — and characters under 18 never take part in romance. Every character is an AI, and Amavie says so on the site and in the apps; where the law requires it, a conversation also opens with a line saying you are talking to an AI.
Your data
Your data. Deleting is self serve: amavie.ai/liquidation, type DELETE. Your chats and messages go at once and do not come back. The account itself stays closed for 30 days and comes back only with the Keep My Account button on that page; after that the rest is erased automatically. Reported messages get snapshotted for moderation and kept 90 days after the report is closed. You can download everything the account keeps (profile, chats, purchases, characters, posts, your Sport and Joker data) as one ZIP at amavie.ai/account/data, any time, even while the account waits for deletion.

Questions people ask
Is the AI fanfiction writer free?
Planning a work with the assistant and editing it by hand are free on every plan. Having the AI write the pages and changing a finished work in words come with any paid plan, without spending credits on text. Pictures cost credits, priced before you build.
Can I write fanfiction about any fandom?
Yes. In your own profile a work can be about any story you love; in Amavie's worlds that are open to fan works, it also appears on the world's Fan works shelf. Rights holders can send an IP Notice to support@amavie.ai.
Can the AI make a fan comic, not only text?
Yes. Choose Comic at the door: the Studio plans scenes and pages of panels, writes captions and speech bubbles, and draws the pictures, which cost credits with the price shown before you press.
Can I edit what the AI wrote?
Page by page: edit it by hand for free, or rewrite a page in words, write it again, redraw its picture, move or delete it, or add a page after it from one line. The pages you liked stay exactly as they are.
Who can read my fanfiction?
Nobody, until you press Publish: a new work is a draft only you see. Published works appear on your profile and in the Fandom library and have a link you can share; Unpublish takes a work back.
Can my fan work become canon in a world?
If the world is open to fan works, its author can put your work on the world's own board, signed with your name, or file it into the world's albums. In worlds opened to their community, fans vote on it.
