Write in a manuscript, read as a book

Open Create and choose Book. You write each chapter as plain text, without thinking about pages; the book lays itself out the way a printed book would, and you can switch between the manuscript and the layout at any time. Give it a cover, a title and a blurb, set how many chapters you plan, and reorder chapters by dragging.

Readers get a reader made for long text: page by page, on paper they can adjust, with the chapters listed and their place kept, and "To be continued" or "The End" on the last page you wrote.

An AI co-author, not a ghostwriter

The agent plans the book with you — what happens in each chapter, who is in it, where the turns are — and planning costs nothing. In the manuscript it suggests the next paragraph where you stopped, or the opening of a new page; a suggestion lands as a draft you accept or throw away. With any paid plan it can also write and lay out whole chapters from your plan and rework text when you describe the change in words. Whatever you wrote by hand stays yours: a full rebuild does not overwrite it.

The co-author knows your characters, because on Amavie characters are not just names — each one has a personality, a past, a voice and a world (how AI characters remember). A book about them keeps them the way they are.

Publish chapter by chapter

A book can come out the way serials do. Publish the first chapters and keep writing; an update to a published chapter waits in your draft until you press update, so readers never see half a change. A series of books is an album in order. Books live on your profile, a character's page or a world's page, and in the Fandom tab next to comics and mini-series.

Read in every language

Readers see your book in the language of their app: the text is translated in the background, and your original stays as you wrote it.

Light novels, web novels, fanfiction

Make your own hero (AI character creator) or write about the characters already here: the catalog lists every open one, and the ambassadors are a good first hello. Talking needs no account — as a guest you get 20 messages per 24 hours on one device.

What it costs, in plain numbers

Writing by hand and planning with the agent are free. AI writing of whole chapters and editing in words come with any paid plan, without spending credits; pictures for a book cost credits.

Pricing. One credit (the app calls them Quanta) is $0.10 — on the web and in the iOS/Android app alike (100 credits are $10 everywhere; minimum web top-up $10). Text messages cost zero credits. An image is 1 credit, video is 3 credits a second, creating a character is 5. Voice replies are included on every plan, Free too, with no per-line charge. Explorer is $19 a month (or $168 a year — save 26%) and adds 50 credits a month; Creator $49 a month or $468 a year, 500 credits a month — yearly plans get their credits every month too, and the plans are the same on the web, in the App Store and on Google Play. Studio, $149 a month with 2,000 credits a month, is sold on the website. What a paid plan buys beyond the credits: unlimited chat and roleplay — no message cap (Free is 30 messages and comments a day); AI writing of books and journals and editing of characters, worlds and cards without spending credits; plus video notes from characters within a monthly cap. Free also gets 10 credits once at signup, with no daily refill. Guests: 20 messages a day per device, no account.

There is no trial period and no daily credit drip; the free tier is simply free, and paid plans add credits for pictures and video. One account works on the web, in the App Store and on Google Play.

Age, and the rules of your country

Age. An Amavie account is 13+. Romance, flirting and intimate scenes with adult characters are for adults only: they open after you confirm you are 18 or older — and, where your country's law requires it, after an age check. Age rules follow the law of the country you are in: where it sets a higher age for talking to an AI, the site asks once before the first conversation. Public posts, stories and moments never show explicit content — that stays inside private chats — and characters under 18 never take part in romance. Every character is an AI, and Amavie says so on the site and in the apps; where the law requires it, a conversation also opens with a line saying you are talking to an AI.

Your data

Your data. Deleting is self serve: amavie.ai/liquidation, type DELETE. Your chats and messages go at once and do not come back. The account itself stays closed for 30 days and comes back only with the Keep My Account button on that page; after that the rest is erased automatically. Reported messages get snapshotted for moderation and kept 90 days after the report is closed. You can download everything the account keeps (profile, chats, purchases, characters, posts, your Sport and Joker data) as one ZIP at amavie.ai/account/data, any time, even while the account waits for deletion.
