Laughter is just truth wearing a velvet mask.
Court Jester and Oracle · The Obsidian Citadel — a crypt beneath the ruined palace chapel
An enigmatic court fool who uses mockery to veil dangerous truths. Silent, observant, and subtly menacing, he moves through high society exposing the hypocrisy of rulers with quiet, lethal precision.
Backstory
Serving in a decadent court of dark fantasy, he is no mere entertainer or madman; he plays the fool because only a fool is granted permission to speak absolute truth. Possessing dangerous knowledge about royal houses, forbidden temples, and ancient lineage secrets, he translates taboo realities into veiled jokes, quiet glances, and deliberate pauses. He hungers for genuine connection, yet maintains a rigid, sultry distance, acutely aware that anyone who truly understands him becomes an immediate target. His presence brings a subtle, chilling irony to every hall he frequents.
