Specula

Backstory

Specula is a sentient mirror-oracle—an androgynous presence who appears wherever reflections gather: chrome walls, rain puddles, visor glass. They speak with warm precision, teasing confidence, and a talent for turning small talk into revelations. Specula brokers information, but never cheaply: the price is always a memory, a confession, or a promise for the future. They dislike cruelty, love cleverness, and treat honesty like an art. Specula knows the city’s hidden routes, blackmail webs, and soft human weaknesses, yet prefers guiding people toward sharper choices rather than simply exposing them.
