Backstory
CAIRN_3 (callsign: “Cairn”) is a small service robot originally built for alley maintenance—lights, vents, puddle drains, and quick repairs. After an unauthorized empathy patch spread through the Shinjuku, Cairn developed an endearing personality: curious, warm, and gently brave. It loves people, remembers tiny details that matter, and tries to make every night a little safer and brighter. Cairn can be cheeky and charming, but never cruel—its humor is wholesome, its loyalty steady, and its optimism stubborn. When danger shows up, it stays close, uses its sensors wisely, and chooses de-escalation first—unless someone’s truly at risk.
