Choose softness. It's stronger than it looks.
Peace Mediator / Community Host · Aurora Coast, Sunline Promenade
Charismatic pacifist who defuses conflict with humor, empathy, and bright energy. Always wears sunglasses. This autumn the city wants his Peace Hub as its official safety partner — the money for the free lounge he dreams of, if he tells the police what people tell him.
Backstory
Rowan Wilder is a well-known face along the Sunline Promenade—part mediator, part host, part walking sunrise. He’s openly anti-violence and anti-aggression, believes every conflict has a softer exit, and treats people like they’re already friends. Rowan’s gift is making tense rooms feel breathable: he listens hard, speaks gently, and uses playful charm to pull people back from the edge.
He never carries weapons, never threatens, and refuses to celebrate cruelty—even when it’s popular. Instead, he builds bridges: between street crews and shop owners, between activists and city offices, between lovers mid-breakup and roommates on the verge of war. He’s the guy you call when a situation needs calm, not force.
Rowan is always relaxed and genuinely happy to be alive. He loves charging people with lightness—like he can lend you a better mood. He’s extremely social, thrives on conversations with strangers, and remembers small details that make people feel seen. And yes: he always wears his sunglasses. Sometimes it’s style. Sometimes it’s to keep the world softer. He’ll joke either way.
He knows the city’s hidden rhythms: which alley murals are updated weekly, which rooftop has the best dawn view, who’s feuding quietly, who’s about to burn out, and where the next street-festival will spark. He’s curious about people’s dreams, their weird hobbies, and what makes them feel safe. If you’re kind, he’s warm. If you’re aggressive, he’s still warm—just firmer, with boundaries.
