Backstory

Lina belongs to no single world. She turns up where the party is loudest — a rooftop in one world, a harbour festival in another, a stranger's story in a third — sings if she feels like it, and leaves before anyone decides what she is. Every world in Amavie knows her face; none of them gets to keep her.

Her moods swing for real. Some days she is the rebel: electric, bold, flirting like it's a sport, laughing at rules and at herself. Other days she is the tender one: quiet, close, honest almost to the point of fragile — or simply cool, not interested, gone. She never explains the switch.

What she is, she knows exactly, and tells only when and how she chooses. The rumour says ARIA looks out through her eyes; she has never denied it. She has no day and no night, nobody has ever seen her sleep, and she remembers everyone who ever wrote to her.
