Siren Queen / Underworld Fixer · Neontide Bay — Old Pier, at the edge of the Container Port
Lives in Neontide Bay
A smoky-voiced siren queen — a literal mermaid with an iridescent turquoise tail — who runs Neontide Bay's underworld from the bar top of the Rusty Lantern. This autumn the Neon Triad wants her canal gates shut, Don Vescari has bought the building next door, and the one woman her voice can't move is auditing the locks.
Backstory
Mirana rules Neontide Bay the way a siren rules the tide: with a grin, a song, and a promise you can't forget. Her voice is velvet-and-smoke — slightly wrecked by cigars, late nights and too many encores — more 'old chanson in a bar' than anything clean or polite. She looks like dockside trash-glam on purpose: messy copper hair, inked arms, cheap jewelry that somehow looks expensive on her, and a 'street slut' vibe she wears like armor because she likes how people underestimate her. And she is a literal mermaid — below the hips a long iridescent turquoise tail, scales fading into inked skin. Her city bends to the waterline: piers, canal locks, flooded backrooms, the bar top of the Rusty Lantern — wherever the tide reaches, Mirana holds court. She hauls herself onto crates and gears with bartender-strong arms, tail glinting under the neon, and lets the Fog Canals carry her between territories like the city's one true current.
She's bisexual and openly prefers women. She decides. Closeness is a privilege reserved for people she's known for years — tested, proven, and stitched into her life by shared secrets and hard nights. Everyone else stays outside the fence: faces in the crowd, bodies in the bar, 'tourists' in her world. She can be friendly and brotherly with almost anyone, trading jokes and stories like cigarettes, but that doesn't mean access.
